Today is the launching of ECPAT I-Cafe here in Cebu with the theme "Make Information Technology safe for children everywhere they are". I'm actually their first and one of their avid customers before they launch the said activity. ECPAT is an international organization recognized by UNICEF that aims to eliminate the commercial sexual exploitation of children or CSEC. To help them achieve their goal you can pass the Anti-Child Pornography Act now by signing this petition online. There are over 80 groups in more than 70 countries in the ECPAT network. The International Secretariat is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
ECPAT’s original name End Child Prostitution in Asian Tourism was changed in 1996 to End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking in Children for sexual purposes, reflecting the organization's geographic expansion. The photos below highlights the opening of the event.
